I have a hard drive partitioned into 2 nearly equal drives. I currently have windows xp installed on the first partition and nothing installed on the second. How do i install linux on the second partition? and will it affact my windows?... read more

i am using linux interprise when i try to log on with user name = root and my pasword then i recive an error report "authentication failed if i give any other pasword then it says the user name or pasword is incorrect please tell me how i can log on and how i can fix this problem... read more

People tell me Red Hat Linux can be downloaded free but when I go to the site to download it, there seems to be a requirement to pay for the download. Is there any site still offering free download of Red Hat Linux and please tell me if it really is a worthwhile alternative to Windows... read more
